The Salem Tigers Tennis Team took 5th in the West Plains Invitational. They will be off until Monday when they will be in Lebanon to face the Yellow Jackets.

Parents of children 14 years of age and under can still sign their children up for the City of Salem Youth Baseball, Softball and T-Ball Leagues for $35 per child. Signups are being held at the Salem Community Center@The Armory. The league will start the last week of May and wrap up before July 4th. All signups will end on April 26th. The St. Louis Cardinals will host the New York Mets tonight at 6:20, Saturday afternoon at 12:20 and Sunday afternoon at 12;20. All the games can be heard on KSMO Radio.

Homer Bailey went six strong innings giving up only one run while Jorge Soler and Ryan O’Hearn hit solo homers to lead the Kansas City 11-hit attack as they beat the New York Yankees Thursday night, 6-1. The Royals improve to 7-12 on the season. The Royals and Yankees will play again tonight in New York. They will also play the Yankees Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

Jaden Schwartz goal with 15 seconds left capped a three-goal 3rd period as the St. Louis Blues rallied from a 2-0 deficit after two periods to beat Winnipeg, 3-2. The Blues and Jets will tangle Saturday night on KSMO Radio starting at 5:30 in Game 6 in St. Louis.
