Funeral services for Retired Dent County Fire Protection District Chief Tom Wayne Roofe, age 67, will be today at 11:00 at the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to The Dent County Fireman’s Fund.

Funeral services for Kenneth Monroe Emory of Boss, age 91, will be today at 1:00 at the Boss Assembly of God Church. Visitation will also be at the Church starting at 11:00. Burial will be in the Boss Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel.

Funeral services for Frieda Kenney will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:00 in the Salem Chapel of the James & Gahr Mortuary. Visitation will be held Saturday morning from 11:00 until time of service. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Funeral services for Reverend Paul G. Conaway of Cuba, age 89, will be held Saturday at noon at the Britton-Bennett Funeral home in Steelville. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM, and Saturday from 10:00 in the morning until service time. Interment will be in the Freeman Cemetery in Cherryville. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Funeral services for James “Jim” Wellington Harris formerly of Salem, age 88, will be Saturday at 1:00 at the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel. Visitation will also be Saturday starting at 11:00. Burial with Military Honors will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to VFW Post 6280.

Celebration of Life for Kay Marlene Poole, age 85, formerly of Surprise, Arizona, will be Saturday evening at 6:00 at the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel. Visitation will also be Saturday, from 5:00 until 6:00.
