Obituaries – Tuesday, November 26th, 2019

Funeral services for Leona Lea (Boyher) Schafer of Salem, age 93, will be held today at 12:00 noon at the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel. Visitation will be held from 11:00 until noon. Burial will be in the Green Forest Cemetery.

A non-traditional celebration of life service for Wendell Gerald Parker, of Salem, age 79, will be held Saturday from 1:00 until 3:00 in the Wilson Mortuary Family Center. Military honors will be held at 3:00. Memorials are suggested to the Lovepack Backpack program.

A lighthearted celebration of life for Roger Irvin Thompson of Salem, age 55, will be held Saturday morning at the walking Faith Ministries at 11:00. Memorials may be made to the Walking Faith Ministries. All the arrangements are under the direction of the Wilson Mortuary.

A memorial service for Nellie Elvira (Schafer) Klipfel, of New Castle, Colorado, formally of Salem, age 100, have been canceled due to a family emergency and will be scheduled for a later date. Memorials are suggested to the Breast Cancer Foundation. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilson Mortuary.
