Obituaries – Tuesday, July 16th, 2024

Stanley Dean McFadden of Salem passed away Saturday, July 13th, at the age of 71. The family will honor Stanley’s wishes to be cremated and no service will be held per his wishes. All arrangements are under the direction of the Wilson Mortuary of Salem.

Funeral services for Joe Lee Hubbs of Salem, age 78, will be held at 12:00 noon today, in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel. Visitation will be held from 10:00 until service time in the chapel. Burial will be follow in the Dry Fork Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Dry Fork Baptist Church or Dry Fork Cemetery.

Memorial services for Lavana Jo Merritt of Salem, age 90, will be Friday at 12:00 noon at the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel. Visitation will be Friday starting at 11:00. Burial will be in the North Lawn Cemetery at a later date.

Funeral services for Virginia Louise White of Salem, age 90, will be Friday at 12:00 noon at the Salem Christian Church. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 until service time. Burial will be in the North Lawn Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the LovePack Program. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel. 

Funeral services for Barbara “Diane” Sensintaffar of Salem, age 85, will be held at 1:00 Saturday afternoon, July 20th, in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel. Visitation will be held from 11:00 Saturday morning until service time in the chapel. Burial will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
