Obituaries – Thursday, May 4th, 2023

Funeral Services for Christy Rae Chamberlain, of Salem, age 57, will be held this afternoon at 4:00 in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel. Visitation will also be from 2:00 until service time. Burial will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial Services for U.S. Navy Retired, Walter “Mac” Glenn McDonald of Doniphan, age 82, will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:00 in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel. Visitation will also be on Saturday from noon until service time. Burial will be in the Tune Cemetery.

Funeral services for former Salem Mayor Gary Brown of Salem, age 77, will be held at the Salem First Baptist Church in Salem on Monday, at 1:30. Visitation will be held from 11:00 until service time Monday. Interment will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Mission Teams. All the arrangements are under the direction of the James and Gahr Mortuary of Salem.
