Obituaries – Monday, September 10th, 2018

Funeral services for Wilbur “Gene” McCarter of Salem, age 82, will be this morning at 10:00 at the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel. Interment will be in the Jadwin Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Salem First Baptist Church.

Funeral services for Vernon “Jack” Warren of Salem, age 79, will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00 at the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 10:00 until service time. Interment will be in the Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery.

A private family service will be held at a later date for Mary Louise Dean of Salem, age 57. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel.

A memorial service for Bessie L. Curry of Salem, age 77, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Salem Chapel of the James and Gahr Mortuary. A visitation will be held prior to the time of service beginning at noon.
