Funeral Services for James “Jimmy” Franklin Medearis, age 87, of Cook Station will be held at noon today in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel. Burial to follow in the Gladden Empire Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 this morning until time of service. Burial will be in the Gladden Empire Cemetery.

Funeral services for Ruth Marie Alvey of St. James, age 99, will be today at 1:00 at the St. James Chapel of James & Gahr Mortuary. Visitation will be from 11:00 until service time. Interment will in the Asher Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Asher Cemetery.
