Obituaries – Monday, June 4, 2018

Funeral services for Vernie Asher of Bixby, age 88, will be Wednesday morning at 11:00 at the Wilson Mortuary Viburnum Chapel. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 until 7:00. Interment will be in the Crocker-Stricklin Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Crocker-Stricklin Cemetery.

Graveside services for Wilma Marie Ferguson of Rolla, age 86, will be held at the Ozark Hills Memorial Gardens in Rolla. All the arrangements are under the direction of the James and Gahr Mortuary of Rolla.

Funeral services for Billy Van Medlock, of Ellington, age 75, will held Friday at the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel. Visitation will be held before the service from 11 a.m. until the time of service.  Interment will be in the Jadwin Cemetery with full military honors.  Memorials may be made to the disabled Veteran’s Association.

A Celebration of Life for Virgil Ross of St. James, age 72, will be held Saturday at the VFW Post in St. James from 3:00 to 10:00 PM. Everyone is asked to bring a covered dish as the meat will be provided. All the arrangements are under the direction of the James and Gahr Mortuary of St. James.
