Obituaries – Monday, December 30th, 2019

Funeral services for Ernest Jennings Malone, Jr., of Belton, Texas, formerly of Salem, age 83, will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 at the Salem Chapel of James and Gahr. Visitation will be prior to services starting at 10:00. Interment will be in the North Lawn Cemetery with Full Military Honors.

Funeral services for William Schescke of Salem, age 86, will be Saturday, January 11th at 1:00 at the Salem Lutheran Church. Visitation will also be the 11th from 11:00 until service time at the church. Interment will be at the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Salem Lutheran Church. Arrangements are under the direction of the James & Gahr Mortuary of Salem.

Memorial services for Ellen Brasler of Salem, age 70, will be Saturday, January 18th at 2:00 at the Salem Chapel of James and Gahr Mortuary. Visitation will be from 1:00 until service time. Interment will be in the Jefferson Barracks Veterans Cemetery in St. Louis at a later date. Memorials are suggested to DCAWS.
