The vehicle being passed crossed the center line forcing the Ford off the road. Barton lost control and traveled off the left side of the roadway, then overcorrected and returned to the roadway, overturned and traveled off the right side of the roadway. Barton, who was not wearing a seat restraint, was transported to Salem Memorial District Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
