Paul Goldschmidt homered, had three hits and drove in three runs, while Paul DeJong and Dexter Fowler each doubled in two runs as St. Louis beat Kansas City, 9-3. Jorge Soler hit a three-run homer for all the Royals scoring. Jack Flaherty got the win for St. Louis who will play the Royals tonight at 6:20 on KSMO Radio.

Yadier Molina had four hits and two RBI, Dylan Carlson hits his 1st major league home run and Harrison Bader, added a two-run homer, and St. Louis took 3 of the 4 games with the Cincinnati Reds this weekend. The Cardinals begin a three game series with the Kansas City Royals tonight at 6:20 on KSMO Radio.
Kansas City dropped the rubber game of their three game series with Minnesota Sunday, 5-4. Hunter Dozier went 4-4 for the Royals who fall to 11-17 on the year. Kansas City will visit St. Louis for a three game series tonight.
Jaden Schwartz scored twice, but the Blues fell to the Vancouver Canucks in Game 6 of the best-of-seven series Friday night, 6-2 and have been eliminated from the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Vancouver will now face Vegas in the 2nd round.

Salem R-80 has reported that a member of the Lady Tiger Softball team has tested positive for COVID-19. Players and coaches will be quarantined for 14 days and will attend school next week virtually. They are working with the Dent County Health Center for contact tracing and they will notify anyone with close contact.
Kolton Wong’s RBI single finished a three-run bottom of the 9th inning rally as the Cardinals beat the Cincinnati Reds, 5-4 at Busch Stadium.
The Cards are home tonight to face the Cincinnati Reds at 6:20 on KSMO.
Kansas City had Thursday off. The Royals will host Minnesota this weekend.
The Blues will face the Vancouver Canucks tonight in Game 6 at 8:45 on ksmoradio.com starting at 8:45. The game will be switched to KSMO after the Cards baseball game. The Blues trail the Canucks in the series, 3 games to 2.

Matt Carpenter’s grand slam in the top of the 1st inning of the 1st game propelled St. Louis to a 9-3 Cardinal win over the Chicago Cubs. In Game 2, David Bote’s two run singe off Andrew Miller proved to be the difference as Chicago beat St. Louis, 4-2. The Cards are home tonight to face the Cincinnati Reds at 6:20 on KSMO.
Brad Keller threw 6 2/3rds inning of three hit ball and Kansas City beat Cincinnati, 4-0 in the 1st game of a doubleheader. In the 2nd game, the Reds shutout the Royals, 5-0. The Royals will host Minnesota this weekend.
The Blues had a 3-1 lead in 2nd period only to have Vancouver score three goals in 6:30 minutes to take the lead and hold on for a 4-3 win. Game 6 will be Friday night at 8:45.

Kyle Schwarber’s two-run homer help lead Chicago to a 6-3 win over St. Louis Tuesday. The Cards and Cubs square off in another double-header starting at 12:25 this afternoon at Wrigley Field.
The Royals’ game with Cincinnati was postponed due to COVID-19. The makeup game will be part of a double-header played today in Cincinnati.
The Blues will play Vancouver in Game 5 of the seven game series tonight at 9:30.You can hear the game on KSMO Radio starting at 9:00 with the pre-game show.

St. Louis won Game 1 yesterday 3-1 over Chicago before the Cubs rallied for four runs in the 6th inning to beat the Cards in Game 2, 5-4. The Red Birds will play the Chicago Cubs tonight starting at 6:20 on KSMO Radio.
Minnesota beat Kansas City Monday, 4-1 to take 3 of 4 in the series. The Royals begin a two game series with Cincinnati tonight.
Ryan O’Reilly scored twice as the St. Louis Blues beat Vancouver, 3-1 to tie the series at 2-2. The Blues will play Vancouver in Game 5 of the best of seven series Wednesday night at 9:30.

The St. Louis Cardinals swept the doubleheader Saturday over the Chicago White Sox by the scores of 5-1 and 6-3 before losing Sunday, 7-2. They will begin a five game series with the Chicago Cubs starting with a double header today beginning at 3:20 with the pre-game show on KSMO Radio.
The Minnesota Twins beat the Kansas City Royals Sunday 4-2 after the Royals won by the identical score on Saturday. Those two teams wrap up their four game series tonight.
Braden Schenn scored at 15:06 in overtime to give the Blues a 3-2 win over Vancouver Sunday night in Game 3 of the best of seven series. The St. Louis Blues will play Vancouver tonight in Game 4 of the best of seven series. You can hear the game starting at 9:30 on KSMO.

The St. Louis Cardinals game with the Chicago White Sox that was scheduled for Friday night was postponed and rescheduled on Saturday as a double header with the first game starting at 1:10 with the pre-game show starting at 12:15.
The Royals play Minnesota tonight to face the Twins in the first of their four game series ending Monday night.
The St. Louis Blues will play Vancouver in Game 2 tonight at 5:00 and at 9:00 Sunday night with both games on KSMO.

The St. Louis Cardinals are scheduled to play Friday night when they face the Chicago White Sox starting at 6:15.
The Vancouver Canucks scored three goals in the 3rd period and went on to defeat the St. Louis Blues Wednesday night, 5-2. David Perron and Jaden Schwartz scored for St. Louis. The St. Louis Blues will play Vancouver in Game 2 on Friday evening at 6:00.
