Trailing most of the game, José Fermín batted in Nolan Gorman on a sac fly while Leo Bernal singled to allow Masyn Winn to reach home and push the contest into the tenth. However, a Giant’s two-run home run was enough to seal the deal as the Cardinals fell 6-5. The Cardinals are off today.
