The Salem Tiger and Lady Tigers Sports are back! Tonight the Freshman, JV, and Varsity Volleyball Lady Tigers will host their Blue and White night for scrimmage play starting tonight at 6:00. Admission to the games is one bottle of Gatorade per person.

The Salem Football Tigers are on the road today to attend the Sullivan Jamboree. Other teams in attendance include Jefferson R7, Cuba, Lutheran South, and St. James. The Jamboree begins at 7:00 this evening.

The St. Louis Cardinals and Cincinnati Reds concluded their five game series yesterday afternoon. A Jordan Walker three-run home run in the third gave the Cardinals an early four run lead. With one swing of the bat in the sixth the Reds came storming back via a Matt McLain grand slam to take a one-run lead. Then in the ninth, a fielding error allowed José Fermín and Masyn Winn to cross home plate to return the lead to the Cardinals. In the bottom of the ninth the Reds nearly forced extra innings scoring four runs as the Cardinals held on for the 10-9 victory and 3-2 series win. Tonight the Red Birds will be in Philadelphia to take on the Phillies. You can listen to tonight’s game live on KSMO Radio, 1340 AM & 95.7 FM with pregame coverage set to begin at 4:45.
