Yesterday afternoon the St. Louis Cardinals and Colorado Rockies entered Busch Stadium with their series tied at one. The Cardinals took Friday’s game 3-2 and the Rockies responded with an 8-6 victory on Saturday. In game three the Cardinals jumped out to a three run advantage by the end of the fifth before the Rockies tied up the game at four by way of a pair of home runs. In the bottom of the eighth, JJ Wetherholt broke the tie with a two-run double. Iván Herrera tacked on an insurance run and the Cardinals won, 7-4. Tonight the Philadelphia Phillies are in St. Louis to face the Cardinals live on KSMO Radio 1340 AM and 95.7 FM with pregame coverage starting at 5:50.
