The St. Louis Cardinals and Atlanta Braves played their final game of a three game series. In just the first inning both teams opened up and scored a combined eight runs. During the top of the seventh, a Nathan Church home run energized the Cardinals, and they blew the game open with seven scored runs in the inning.
