KSMO Radio, a long time affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals Radio Network, is proud to announce that during this Monday’s game against the San Diego Padres the Bunker Basketball Eagles will be invited on the field to throw out the ceremonial first pitch! The Eagles compiled a 30-2 record on their way to earning the Missouri State High School Activities Association Class 1 Basketball Championship earlier this year, the first in school history. An expected group of over 100 Bunker supporters, one third of the town’s population, will be in attendance. This game will be video broadcast through the Fubo app and MLB.tv, subscription fees may apply. You can listen to the game live on KSMO Radio, 1340 AM & 95.7 FM with pregame to start at 5:50 in the evening and first game pitch at 6:45. KSMO would like to thank the Cardinals Baseball organization and Bunker R-3 School District for their generosity and cooperation with KSMO to salute the Bunker Eagles in Busch Stadium.
In yesterday’s game the St. Louis Cardinals and New York Mets hit a combined six home runs to account for all but one score in the game. Unfortunately for the Cardinals the last home run of the game was hit by Juan Soto and was the deciding play as the Cardinals fell 5-4, but won the series 2-1. A new series with the Minnesota Twins will begin live this evening on KSMO Radio with pregame coverage at 6:15 and first pitch at 7:10. Saturday and Sunday’s games will be at 1:10 in the afternoon with KSMO’s coverage starting at 12:15.
