Kinzey Waldron had three hits including two doubles driving in five runs, while Hailie Khamke went 4-5 with two triples and two RBI as the Bourbon Lady Warhawks banged out 13 hits and scored eight of their runs with two outs to beat the Salem Lady Tigers Monday in the Class 2, District 3 tournament semi-final, 11-3. Annalise Gobin for Bourbon went seven innings and gave up six hits and three runs while striking out 11. Shaylee Thomas had two hits and an RBI for Salem who finished the year with a 15-8 record. Bourbon will play Houston for the district championship Wednesday at 4:00 at Potosi.

The Salem Varsity Baseball Tigers lost to Stoutland Monday by the score of 6-3. Maison Sanders had two hits and an RBI for Salem and Dannon Berry doubled home a run for Salem who falls to 7-14 on the year. Salem has lost their last three games in a row. The baseball regular season will come to an end Wednesday when Salem will be at Mountain Grove starting at 4:30.

The Salem JV Baseball Tigers beat Stoutland Monday, 5-3. Cullen Edwards and Nick Hardecke each had two hits for Salem who improve to 5-7 on the year. They are also scheduled to be at Mountain Grove Wednesday.

The St. Louis Cardinals will be in Sacramento to face the A’s tonight to begin a three game series. St. Louis is six games over .500 while the A’s are two games over .500. The game can be heard on KSMO Radio starting at 7:45 with the pregame show.
