The Salem Baseball Tigers game at Mountain Grove Monday was postponed and no makeup date has yet been set. Salem is scheduled to host the Sullivan Eagles today at the SHS Baseball Field Complex starting at 4:30. Salem is 5-9 on the year while Sullivan is 12-10.

The Salem Lady Softball Tigers are scheduled to play Thayer in an SCA Conference makeup game today at 4:30 at the Salem City Park. The game was originally scheduled for April 20th that was rained out earlier in the year. The Lady Bobcats are 6-0 in the SCA Conference while Salem is 4-2 in SCA play. If played, the game will be broadcast on KSMO Radio (AM 1340 and 95.7 FM) and audio streamed on KSMO Media (ksmoradio.com, KSMO Stream Facebook and KSMO YouTube) starting at 4:15 with Tiger Talk and Coach Jim Moore.

The SCA Conference Golf Tournament scheduled to be held Monday at Houston was postponed. No makeup date has yet been determined.

The Salem Varsity Track Teams meet Monday at St. James was postponed. No rescheduled date has yet been established.

The Pittsburgh Pirates brought home a run in each of the first two innings against the Cardinals yesterday. The score remained 2-0, until the top of the ninth when a Pedro Pagés hit a solo home run to get the red birds on the board. JJ Wetherholt followed up with a solo home run of his own for the tie. José Fermín batted in a pair of runs to round out the ninth and give the Cards a 4-2 rally win. Game two starts this evening at 5:40. KSMO Radio will carry the game on a broadcast delay to follow Salem Lady Tiger Softball. If the Lady Tiger’s game is rescheduled due to weather, KSMO will broadcast the Cardinals game live with pregame coverage starting at 4:45.
