Katie Miller scored 14 points including three 3-pointers for Sullivan as the Lady Eagles beat Salem Monday night, 46-26 in the Class 4, District 3 Tournament. Karley Head had a double-double for the Lady Eagles with 12 points and 13 rebounds. Madison Mercer led the Lady Tigers with 12 points. The Lady Tigers finished the season with a 9-17 record. Sullivan will play St. James Wednesday night at 7:00 in the semi-final.

The Bunker Eagles will play Billings tonight in Sectional play at Cabool starting at 6:00. The admission to this game is $10 for anyone six years of age and older. Bunker enters the game with a 26-2 record while Billings is 24-5 on the year. The winner of this contest will move to the state quarterfinal Saturday afternoon at 1:00 at the Van Buren High School Gym. KSMO Media will be broadcasting the game on the KSMO Stream Facebook Page and the KSMO YouTube Page accessible at ksmoradio.com. The contest will also be video streamed on MSHSAA.TV for a cost of $15 with a 75 cent service fee.

The Salem Boys Basketball Tigers are have a bye tonight in the Class 4, District 3 Tournament and will face the winner of the St. Clair-Cuba game on Thursday night at 7:00 at the Cuba High School Gym. Salem was seeded 2nd in the tournament.

Congratulations to Salem R-80 Scholar Bowl students on their performance at the SCA tournament this weekend. JV won 1st place!  Individual medals for the JV, where Ivan Brooks 9th, Lea Deller 7th, Noah Foster 6th, Quin Dahms 3rd, August Scheel 2nd. Varsity came away with second place. Individual medals for the Varsity, Preston Duncan 9th and Kyle Brothers 6th. 

The Mizzou Tigers will be down in Oklahoma tonight to face the Sooners. You can listen to this game live on KSMO Radio with pregame coverage starting at 5:30. Then the regular season for Mizzou comes to an end this weekend when they face the 20th ranked Arkansas Razorbacks.
