The Salem Tigers Boys Basketball game against Steelville has been rescheduled for Thursday, February 12th at the Salem High School Gym. This game will double up with the scheduled Lady Tiger game against Steelville. KSMO Radio and KSMO Media will bring both varsity games to you live! The JV Girls will tip off at 4:30. That game will only be two quarters. Afterwards a full JV Boys, Varsity Girls, and Varsity Boys game will be played.
Ryleigh Davis scored 27 points that included five three-pointers to lead the Thayer Lady Bobcats past the Salem Lady Tigers Thursday night at the SHS Gym, 57-39 for their ninth straight win. Salem was led by Paisley May with 12 points as the Lady Tigers fall to 3-2 in the SCA Conference and 9-10 overall with their third straight loss. Thayer leads the SCA Conference with a perfect 5-0 record and they are 12-6 on the year. Salem will host the Cuba Lady Wildcats Monday and that will be a varsity only game beginning at 6:00.
The Bunker Lady Eagles had no problems dispatching the Licking Lady Wildcats last night on home court. Keira Turnbough, Kinsey Barton, and Hailey Turnbough each had double digit points, scoring 17, 13, and 12 respectively. The Lady Eagle defense held the Lady Wildcats to single digit points in three of the four quarters with the final score 51-26. Up next for the 17-2 Lady Eagles is a home game versus the 7-12 Liberty (Mountain View) Lady Eagles Monday night on KSMO Media. This will be apart of a doubleheader that will also feature the Bunker Eagles boys basketball team.
The Bunker Boys will look to continue their undefeated season tonight versus the Lancers of St. Pius X (Festus). Watch the varsity game live on KSMO Media at approximately 6:50. The Lancers enter the game with a 2-16 record.
The Mizzou Tigers are back on the court tomorrow afternoon to face off with the South Carolina Gamecocks. You can listen to this game live on KSMO Radio with pregame coverage starting at 11:30 in the morning. The Gamecocks enter the game with a 11-12 record while the Tigers are 15-7.
