The St. Louis Blues traveled to Washington D.C. last night to face the Capitals. Alexey Toropchenko scored the first and only Blues goal on the night early in the third period. Unfortunately for St. Louis fans, the Capitals had already scored five goals in the previous periods. When the zamboni came out at the end of the night the Blues had lost the game by a score of 6-1. The Blues won’t have to dwell on this loss for long as they’re back in action tonight in Buffalo to face off against the 5-4-4 Sabers.
