The Salem Football Tigers offense never got on track against the Mountain View-Liberty Eagles as the Tigers fell to the Eagles Friday night, 36-0. Jaren Rutledge rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns, while Parker Tune scored twice on passes from brother Quarterback Graham Parker to lead the Eagles who improve to 6-2 on the year and 4-2 in the SCA Conference. Salem falls to 2-6 and 1-5 in the SCA Conference. Salem will be at Cabool to conclude the regular season Friday night at 7:00.
The Salem JV Football Tigers will be Mountain View to face the Liberty JV Eagles tonight at 6:00. Salem enters the match with a 1-4 record while Mountain View is 5-0.
The Salem Lady JV Volleyball Tigers captured 2nd place in the Mountain View-Liberty JV Volleyball Tournament Saturday losing to West Plains for the championship to end their season. The JV Lady Tigers finished with a 22-5-1 record and going a perfect 7-0 in the SCA Conference. Congratulations ladies on an incredible year!
The Missouri Football Tigers edged Auburn Saturday night, 23-17 to go to 6-1 on the year. Ahmad Hardy scored two touchdowns, and Beau Pribula ran for another for the Tigers who improve to 2-1 in the SEC Conference.
The St. Louis Blues beat the Dallas Stars Saturday night by the score of 3-1. Jordan Kyrou, Jimmy Snuggerrud and Pius Suter scored for St. Louis who won their first home game of the year. The Blues will host the Los Angeles Kings Tuesday night starting at 6:30 on KSMO Radio, or immediately after Salem Lady Tiger Volleyball.
Patrick Mahomes completed 26 of 25 passes for 286 yards and three touchdowns as Kansas City dominated the Las Vegas Raiders Sunday, 31-0. Rashee Rice had seven catches for 42 yards and two touchdowns. The Chiefs improve to 4-3 and they will host Washington next Monday night.
