Liam Duncan and Fisher Williams, who had previously won the MoBass Junior State Championship earlier this spring, competed in the 2025 Jr World Championship held this year at Lake Oahe in South Dakota. Out of the 69 teams that qualified and entered the tournament Liam and Fisher were the only team representing the state of Missouri. On day one they caught their limit of three fish for a combine weight of 8lbs 7oz which put them 36th overall. On day two the young anglers increased their combined weight by a pound, catching the limit of three fish for 9lbs 7oz. Their two day combine total of 17lbs 14oz was enough to earn them 26th overall in the highly competitive event.
