The St. Louis Cardinals and the Washington Nationals finished up their three game series last night. On the back of a big five run sixth inning and a Willson Contreras home run in the seventh the Cardinals defeated the Nationals, 8-1 taking the overall series 2-1. They’ll start a three game series with the Atlanta Braves tonight live on KSMO Radio 1340 AM & 95.7 FM with pregame coverage starting at 6:20. 

The Kansas City Royals will play New York Mets tonight at 7:10 and wrap the series up over the weekend before getting ready for the MLB All Star Break.
