The Salem Boys Basketball Tiger teams will host the West Plains Zizzers tonight at the SHS High School Gym. The Freshman game will start at 4:30, followed by the JV Tigers contest at 5:30, and varsity contest getting underway at 6:45. The game can be heard on KSMO Radio (AM 1340 and 95.7 FM) and video streamed on KSMO Media (ksmoradio.com, KSMO Stream Facebook and KSMO YouTube) starting with Tiger Talk and Coach Jared Patterson around 6:30. The varsity Tigers and Zizzers are both 4-7.
The Salem Lady Basketball Tigers will be at Sullivan to face the Lady Eagles tonight starting with the JV contest at 6:00 with the varsity game to follow. The Salem varsity is 3-6 on the year while Sullivan is 4-5. The Lady Eagles beat Salem in the Peoples Bank Holiday Classic, 58-25.
The St. Louis Blues will be in Minnesota night to face the second place Wild. The Blues are currently in 5th place in Western Conference.
The University of Missouri Tigers will continue their SEC Conference schedule tonight at home against LSU. That game will get underway at 8:00 with 7:30 the pregame show. Missouri is 11-3 on the year.
The Cardinal Caravan will return to Rolla to the Rolla High School Gymnasium on Saturday, January 18th around 5:30. This year’s players lineup will include Andre Pallante, Matthew Liberatore, Riley O’Brien and Matt Koperniak. The emcee will be Tom Ackerman from KMOX Radio while Bengie Molina and Kyle McClellan will also be in attendance representing the Cardinals’ Alumni. The first 400 kids (15 and under) through the door on the day of the event will receive a free Autograph Ticket which guarantees one autograph from each current and former player. Autographs will only be available for the fans who are 15 years of age and under. Tickets for the Cardinals Caravan will be available at the door on the day of the event for $5 for adults and $3 for kids (ages 3-12). All proceeds from ticket entry will benefit the American Heart Association.
The Kansas City Chiefs finished the regular season 15-2, and secured the AFC Conference first seed along with a playoff bye during this week’s wildcard weekend.
