The Union Wildcats avenged their loss in districts last year to Salem with an 11-0 pounding of the Tigers yesterday at Union. The Wildcats scored in every inning including seven runs in the 3rd inning. Salem is now 16-2 on the year and they will host Rolla Thursday.

Dexter Fowler slashed a go-ahead single in the ninth inning scoring rookie Magneuris Sierra from second as the St. Louis Cardinals rallied for a 6-5 win over the Miami Marlins on Tuesday night at Marlins Park for their eighth straight road win. St. Louis trailed 5-1 before scoring four runs in the eighth and one in the ninth. The Cardinals and Marlins play tonight at 5:15 in the final game of the series on KSMO Radio.

Mike Moustakas homered with one out in the top of the 12th inning as the Kansas City Royals rallied from a four-run deficit and recorded a 7-6 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays on Tuesday night. The Royals will be at Tampa Bay for the third game of their four game series tonight.
