The Mountain View-Liberty Eagles came back from a seven point half time deficit to outscore Salem in the 3rd quarter, 21-7 en route to a 65-58 win over the Tigers. Carter Chilton scored 16 points while Cody Rictor added 15 more. Salem is 5-14 on the year and 0-2 in the SCA. They will travel to Mountain Grove Friday night for another SCA Conference.

Carter Hutton made 33 saves and Ivan Barbashev broke a scoreless tie in the second period to help the St. Louis Blues beat the Montreal Canadiens, 3-1 Tuesday night.The Blues will be in Boston Thursday to face the Bruins starting at 5:30 on KSMO Radio.

The Missouri Basketball Tigers will be at Alabama tonight at 7:30 on KSMO. Missouri is 13-8 overall and 3-5 in the SEC Conference.

The City of Salem Youth Soccer League signups will begin on February 1st at the Salem Community Center@The Armory at 1200 West Rolla Road during normal business hours. The Youth Soccer League is for children age 14 and under. The league will begin April 7th at the Al Brown Park and last until April 28th. Sign up sheets are being taken to Salem R-80 and all the rural schools to be taken home with the children, but if they don’t have theirs or didn’t get one, you can fill out a form at the Salem Community Center@The Armory.
