The Salem Lady Softball Tigers host Steelville this afternoon starting at 4:30. Salem enters the game with an 8-4 record. You can hear the game on KSMO Radio and online at ksmoradio.com.

The Salem Lady Volleyball Tigers will host Thayer tonight in SCA play starting at 6:00 with the JV game with the varsity match to follow.

You can still sign up your child in 1st through the 6th grade for the City of Salem Youth Flag Football. The cost per child is now $35 which includes a late fee. You an sign up your son or daughter at the Salem Community Center@The Armory at 1200 West Rolla Road and the City Administrative Office at 4th and Iron Streets. Games will be held every Saturday starting October 7th through the 28th at the Al Brown Fields. The FINAL day to sign your child will be Friday, September 15th. The St. Louis Cardinals will start a three game series against the Cincinnati Reds tonight starting at 6:20 or immediately after the Salem Lady Tiger Softball game. The Cards are two games out of first place in the Central Division.

Adam Engel had three hits, and Jose Abreu ended a home run shy of his second cycle in three games as the Chicago White Sox ripped the Kansas City Royals 11-3 on Monday night. The Royals play the White Sox again tonight.
