The Steelville Cardinals outscored the Salem Tigers in the 3rd quarter 18-8, breaking a 23-23 game at halftime en route to a 57-46 win over the Tigers. Cody Rictor led Salem with 11 points followed by Jordan Shults, Carter Chilton and Lawson Toman who all had ten points. Salem is 0-2 on the year and they will return to Sullivan tonight at 6:00 to face the St. James Tigers in the 4th Annual FCNB Bank-It Challenge. Late registration for the City of Salem Youth Basketball for all children in Kindergarten through the 6th grade is being accepted through this Thursday for $35. The St. Louis Blues will be off until Wednesday night when they host the Anaheim Ducks as they continue their five-game home stand. The pre-game show on KSMO is at 7:30 with the game time at 8:00. The Blues lead the Central Division in the Western Conference.
