You still have time to sign up and play in the Salem Tigers Basketball four man scramble golf tournament on Monday, June 12th at the Spring Creek Golf Course right here in Salem. The cost is $160 per team and all funds raised go to the Boys and Girls basketball programs at Salem High School. If you don’t have a team to play but would still like to contribute, hole sponsorships are available. Eugenio Suarez and Scooter Gennett each hit a two-run double during a four-run seventh inning to help the Cincinnati Reds rally for a 4-2 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals on Monday night in the opener of a four-game series at Great American Ball Park. The Cards and Reds play tonight starting at 5:15 on KSMO.

Mike Fiers won again on the road, and the Houston Astros keep on winning, topping the Kansas City Royals 7-3 Monday night for their 11th consecutive victory. Houston’s streak is the longest in the majors this year. The Royals and the Astros will play again tonight at Kaufmann Stadium.
