Baylee Bilyeu received a trophy basketball for scoring her 1,000 high school basketball point prior to the game, then led the Salem Lady Tigers with 25 points, 14 rebounds, 9 blocked shots and four steals as Salem beat Ava Monday night, 49-43. The Lady Tigers will be at Houston Thursday night. Salem is now 7-11 overall and 2-2 in the SCA Conference.

The Salem Boys Basketball will be at Mountain View-Liberty tonight to face the Eagles in SCA Play. The JV game will be at 6:00 followed by the varsity game at 7:15. You can hear the game on KSMO radio and online at ksmoradio.com. Salem is 5-13 on the year and 0-1 in the SCA.

The St. Louis Blues will host the Montreal Canadiens tonight starting at 7:00. Due to the Salem Tiger basketball game, the game start will be delayed until 9:10 on KSMO Radio.

The Missouri Basketball Tigers will be at Alabama Wednesday night at 7:30. Missouri enters the game with a 13-8 on the year and are 3-5 in the SEC Conference.

An investigation has been opened into recently suspended basketball player Terrence Phillips by the University of Missouri-Columbia’s Title IX office who is tasked with investigating issues of sex discrimination and sexual violence on campus. Phillips has been suspended indefinitely and his future with the team will be determined by the outcome of the investigation. Phillips is a junior and has been a two year starter.
