The Ava Bears tenacious defense stifled the Salem offense and helped propel them to a 58-49 win over Salem Monday night. Salem was led by Nate Bray with 15 points followed by Reese Dodson with 11 and Carter Chilton with 10. Salem is now 6-16 on the year and 1-4 in the SCA Conference. The Tigers will travel to Cabool to face the Bulldogs starting with the JV game at 6:00. The varsity game will follow and you can hear it on KSMO Radio and online at ksmoradio.com.
Baylee Bilyeu scored 15 points and Michaela Chilton netted 14 more as the Salem Lady Basketball Tigers beat Cabool Monday night, 73-48 in SCA Conference play. Salem improves to 10-12 on the year and they are 3-3 in the SCA. They will host Jefferson City tonight at the SHS Gym staring at 5:30 with the JV game followed by the varsity game.
The St. Louis Blues go on a two game road trip featuring Central Division Teams staring tonight with the Nashville Predators. The game can be heard after Salem Tiger Basketball beginning at about 9:10. The Blues will be in Dallas Friday night and the game broadcast will be delayed until after Salem Basketball at about 9:10.
The Missouri Basketball Tigers will play Texas A&M tonight at 6:00 at Mizzou Arena. The Tigers are 17-8 overall and 7-5 in the SEC Conference. Due to Salem Tiger basketball, the game will NOT be heard on KSMO Radio.
