The Salem Boys Basketball Tigers will host the West Plains Zizzers tonight starting at 5:00 with the 9th grade game, 6:00 with the JV game and the varsity match will begin at about 7:30. You can hear the varsity game on KSMO and online at ksmoradio.com. Salem enters the game with a 1-3 record.

Eight Salem Football Tigers were named to the Missouri Football Coaches Association All-District Class 3 teams. Named to the 1st team were offensive lineman Evan Howard, defensive lineman JD Bowling, linebacker Sam Ball and Tight End Dawson Wynn. Named to the 2nd team were running back Chandler Gray, offensive lineman Nate Case, linebacker Taylor Shipp and defensive back Cameron Camden. Congratulations Tigers on your recognition!

One Salem Football Tiger player was named to the Missouri Football Association Coaches All-State 3rd team for Class 3. Defensive lineman JD Bowling was honored to be named to that collection of players. Congratulations JD!

Two Salem Football Tigers were named to the Missouri Football Coaches Association All-State Academic Team for Class 3. They were Tight end Dawson Wynn and offensive lineman Kolson Seay. Way to go Tigers!

The St. Louis Blues will be at Montreal tonight to face the Canadiens. The game will be heard on a delayed basis after Salem Tiger basketball at about 9:15. The Blues have lost four of the last five games.

The Missouri Basketball Tigers next game is tonight against Miami of Ohio at 7:30. That game will not be carried on KSMO due to Salem Tiger Basketball and Blues Hockey. Missouri enters the game with a 6-2 overall record.
