The Salem Lady Softball Tigers will be at Dora today starting at 4:30. Salem enters the game with a 9-4 record. The Lady Tigers on Friday will be in Waynesville to face the Lady Tigers, also at 4:30.

The Salem Lady Volleyball Tigers will be at Mountain View-Liberty tonight for SCA play against the Lady Eagles starting at 6:00 with the JV contest followed by the varsity match. Salem is 5-6-1 on the year and 1-0 in the SCA Conference.

The Salem Tigers 7th and 8th grade football teams will host Mountain Grove today starting at 5:30 at the SHS Football Field.

The Salem Cross Country Team will compete in the Steelville CC Invitational this afternoon starting at 4:00.

Signups for the City of Salem Youth Flag Football program this fall ends TOMORROW! The program is for children in the 1st through 6th grade and the cost per child is $35 and that includes a late fee. You can sign up your son or daughter at the Salem Community Center@The Armory at 1200 West Rolla Road and the City Administrative Office at 4th and Iron Streets. Games will be held every Saturday starting October 7th through the 28th at the Al Brown Fields. Rookie Tyler Mahle picked up his first big league win as the Cincinnati Reds damaged the St. Louis Cardinals’ playoff hopes with a 6-0 decision at Busch Stadium. The Cards will host Cincinnati this afternoon starting at 11:50 this morning on KSMO.

Adam Engel and Tyler Saladino, combined to drive in three runs as the Chicago White Sox defeated the Kansas City Royals 5-3 on Wednesday afternoon. The Royals have today off before heading to Cleveland Friday.
