The victory completed a sweep of the three-game series for the Cardinals and extended the Phillies’ losing streak to five games. The Cardinals have the day off.

Kansas City Royals starter Jake Junis held the San Diego Padres to three runs over seven-plus innings Sunday as the Royals defeated the Padres 8-3 in the rubber match of a three-game series. The Royals have the day off.
