The Salem Boys Basketball Tigers defeated St. Clair Friday afternoon at the FCNB Bank-It Challenge in Sullivan by the final score of 55-43. Jordan Shults scored 12 points and added 13 rebounds for the Tigers while Cody Rictor also scored a dozen points followed by Reese Dodson who netted 10 points. Salem is now 1-3 on the year and they will host West Plains on Tuesday.

Matt Dumba scored 39 seconds into overtime to send the Minnesota Wild past the St. Louis Blues 2-1 on Saturday. Patrik Berglund scored his second goal in as many contests for St. Louis, who has lost four of its past five games. Jake Allen made 23 saves. The Blues dropped a 4-1 decision to the LA Kings on Friday night with Berglund getting the only Blues goal in that game. The Blues will be in Montreal Tuesday night and the game will be aired on KSMO radio on a delayed basis after Salem Basketball.

The New York Jets beat the Kansas City Chiefs, 38-31 at MetLife Stadium Sunday. Kansas City (6-6) has now lost six of seven, including four straight. Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill each caught two touchdown passes in the game, and Alex Smith finished 19-for 33 for 366 yards with four touchdowns. but the defense was plagued with penalties giving the Jets additional chances. Kansas City will play the Oakland Raiders Sunday for the AFC Central Division lead.

The St. Louis Cardinals have announced they have acquired minor league outfielder J.B. Woodman from the Toronto Blue Jays in exchange for infielder Aledmys Diaz.

The Missouri Football Tigers have been selected to play in the Texas Bowl on December 27th against Texas. Missouri enters the game with a 7-5 record and Texas is 6-6.

The Missouri Basketball Tigers next game will be Tuesday night against Miami of Ohio at 7:30. That game will not be carried on KSMO due to Salem Tiger Basketball and Blues Hockey.
