The Salem Lady Basketball Tigers lost to Owensville Friday, 49-45 to fall to 2-5 on the year. Michaela Chilton and Baylee Bilyeu each scored 14 points for Salem who will host the Thayer Lady Bobcats tonight in SCA Play. Backup goalie Carter Hutton made a career-high 48 saves while Vladimir Tarasenko and Vince Dunn scored power play goals to give the St. Louis Blues a 2-0 win Saturday night against the Winnipeg Jets. The 48 saves for a goaltender who earned a shutout is a new Blues record. Then on Sunday, Winnipeg shutout the Blues, 4-0 as they out shot the Blues, 46-22. St. Louis will be at Calgary Wednesday night at 7:30.

The Kansas City Chiefs regained sole possession of the AFC West lead with a 30-13 win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday night at Arrowhead Stadium. Chiefs’ running back Kareem Hunt rushed for 155 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries. He added a game-high seven catches for 51 yards and a touchdown. Alex Smith completed 23 of 30 passes for 231 yards and two touchdowns. The Chiefs will host the Dolphins on Sunday.

Jordan Barnett scored 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for his third career double-double as Missouri dismantled North Florida 85-51 on Saturday in Columbia to go to 9-2 on the year. The Tigers had five players in double figures, including Jordan Geist and Kassius Robertson, who scored 11 point apiece. The Tigers will host Stephen F. Austin University Tuesday night at 7:30 on KSMO Radio.
