The Salem Tigers scored seven unearned runs in the 1st inning and cruised to a 10-0 win over Thayer in a makeup game yesterday in Salem. Dalton cook went 3-3 with 3 RBI to lead the Tigers. Kory Ramsey struck out eight batters in five innings and gave up two hits in the win. Salem is now 6-0 in the SCA and clinched at least a portion of the SCA Championship. They are also 14-1 on the year. Weather permitting, the Tigers will host Cabool in a makeup game today at 3:30 on KSMO Radio and online at ksmoradio.com.

The SCA Tennis Meet has been rescheduled for today starting at 10:00 this morning at the Salem City Park.

Carlos Martinez bounced back from a series of poor starts, leading the St. Louis Cardinals to a 2-1 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday night. The Cardinals and Milwaukee will play tonight at 6:20.

Jose Quintana threw eight strong innings and Yolmer Sanchez had three hits and drove in a run as the Chicago White Sox beat the Kansas City Royals 6-0 on Tuesday. The Royals and White Sox will tangle again tonight in KC.

The Predators bagged a 2-1 win on Tuesday night for a 3-1 series lead in their best-of-seven Western Conference semifinal. The Blues will host Nashville in Game 5 of the best of seven series Friday night at 7:00.
