The Salem Tigers Baseball Team will host the Thayer Bobcats in third attempt to play this SCA game. This game was originally scheduled to be held in Thayer, but the rain over the weekend has left their field unplayable. Game time is set for 4:30 at the SHS Field. You can hear the game on KSMO Radio, online at ksmoradio.com and on Fidelity Local 6. Salem enters the game with a 5-0 SCA record and 13-1 on the year.

The Salem Tiger Tennis Team will be at the School of the Osage at 4:30 this afternoon. The match Monday with Richland was cancelled due to flooding and will not be rescheduled.

The Salem Tennis Team will be in District play on Monday, May 8th against Licking in the first round at Willow Springs at 4:00. If Salem wins, they would play Mountain Grove on Tuesday, May 9th at Willow Springs at 4:00.

The Salem Golf Team will participate in the District play today at the Franklin Country Club in Washington, Missouri. Good Luck Tigers!

Travis Shaw belted a three-run homer with two outs in the top of the 10th inning Monday night as the Milwaukee Brewers outlasted the St. Louis Cardinals 7-5 at Busch Stadium. The Cardinals will face the Brewers again tonight at 6:20.

Left-hander Jason Vargas worked six strong innings as the Kansas City Royals topped the Chicago White Sox 6-1 on Monday night to end a nine-game losing streak. The Royals will face the White Sox again tonight.
