The Salem Football Tigers will be home tonight to face the Dexter Bearcats in the first round of Class 3, District 1 play starting at 7:00 at the SHS Football Field. Admission to the game will be $5.00 and $3.00 for students. Passes are not allowed for District games. Salem is 6-3 on the year and Dexter has a 4-5 record. Jaden Schwartz and Vince Dunn scored goals 52 seconds apart in the second period, and the St. Louis Blues survived a late flurry to beat the Colorado Avalanche 4-3 on Thursday night. The St. Louis Blues will be in Las Vegas Saturday night to face the Golden Nights starting at 9:00 with the pre-game show and the game will follow at 9:30 on KSMO.

The Missouri Football Tigers will host Idaho at 11:00 Saturday morning at Faurot Field. Missouri enters the game with a 1-5 record overall and 1-3 record at home. You can hear the game on KSMO.

Listen this Sunday at 3:00 on KSMO Radio as the Missouri Basketball Tigers will play an exhibition game against the Kansas Jayhawks at the Sprint Center in Kansas City. The proceeds raised will go to help those affected by the hurricanes in Florida and Texas. The game will NOT be televised on any TV network, but it will be available on the Missouri Tiger Radio Network. There is no pre-game show.

Derek Carr threw a 2-yard touchdown pass to Michael Crabtree on the final play and the Oakland Raiders snapped a four-game losing streak with a 31-30 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday night. The Kansas City Chiefs will be off until Monday, October 30th when they play the Denver Broncos at 7:30.

The Salem High School Student Council will be having a Halloween Dodgeball Fundraiser for Evan Lunn and his family on Thursday, October 26th at the Salem High School gym from 6:00 to 9:00 that evening. The students will be playing dodgeball, but all community members are welcome to come and watch and support Evan. There is a $1.00 admission charge and any donations would be welcome. Concessions will be available at the event!
