Baylee Bilyeu scored 17 points, pulled down 19 rebounds and blocked eight shots as Salem beat Willow Springs Thursday in the 3rd round of the Family Pharmacy Tournament in Mountain Grove, 52-42. Bailey Martin added 12 points and Michaela Chilton scored 11 more as Salem improves to 4-7 on the year. The Tigers will face Alton today at 4:00 in the 5th place game.

The Salem Boys Basketball Tigers will be back in action against Linn in the Owensville tournament Tuesday, January 2nd at 5:30. Salem is seeded 2nd in the tournament. The Tigers enter the tournament with a 2-7 record.

Registration ends TODAY for the City of Salem Adult Men’s Basketball League for men who are 18-years of age and above and no longer in high school is going on at the Salem Community Center @ The Armory and at the City Administrative offices. The cost per team is $300 and teams can be comprised of as many as 12 players. Teams registering after today will be charged a $25 late fee.
