Jon Arzt struck out ten in five innings and Cory Ramsey struck out all six batters he faced as the Salem Tigers blasted Willow Springs, 9-0. Ramsey and Cody Manthey each had two-run doubles, and had Arzt a two-run single and finished with three RBI. The Tigers are 5-0 in the SCA and 13-1 overall and they will play at Thayer Wednesday afternoon at 3:30.

The St. Louis Cardinals had Monday off before they begin a three game set with the Toronto Blue Jays tonight. Game time is 7:15 while the pre-game show begins at 6:20. You can hear the game on KSMO Radio.

Matt Davidson homered and drove in four runs, and Miguel Gonzalez allowed only two hits over eight innings on Monday night as the Chicago White Sox handed the Kansas City Royals their fifth straight loss, 12-1. The Royals will face the White Sox again tonight.

The National Hockey League has released the times for the first four games of the Stanley Cup Playoffs Round 2 between the St. Louis Blues and Nashville Predators. Games 1 and 2 will be held Wednesday and Friday in St. Louis at 7:00, while Game 3 will be held Sunday at 2:00 in Nashville with Game 4 to be held Tuesday night in Nashville at 8:30.
