The Salem Tiger Baseball game with Cabool scheduled for Thursday was postponed due to rain and was rescheduled for Wednesday, May 3rd at 3:30 at the SHS Field. Salem will be on the road Monday at Willow Springs to face the Bears at 4:30. Salem is 4-0 in SCA Conference play and 12-1 on the year. Travis Shaw, Eric Thames and Jett Bandy each clubbed long home runs as Milwaukee slugged its way to a 7-5 victory over St. Louis at Miller Park. St. Louis starter Carlos Martinez (0-3) gave up five runs in five innings. Jedd Gyrko went for 3-3 with a single, double and home run and Kolten Wong hit a three run triple. The Cards will face Milwaukee again tonight at 6:15, Saturday at 5:15 and Sunday at 12:15. All the game can be heard on KSMO Radio.

Delino DeShields lined an RBI single to left field with one out in the 13th inning to give the Texas Rangers a 1-0 victory over Kansas City on Thursday. It marked just the fourth time the Rangers entered the bottom of the 13th inning in a scoreless game. The Royals will face Texas tonight and again Saturday night and Sunday.

The St. Louis Blues will be at Minnesota for Game 5 of their best-of-seven series Saturday at 2:00. The pre-game show on KSMO will begin at 1:30. The Blues lead the series, three games to one.
